Alice’s practice focuses on general business and corporate matters, including complex contract negotiation, company formation and governance, venture capital transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. She represents a wide range of clients, from individual investors to emerging companies to publicly-traded corporations, for whom she enjoys serving not only in her capacity as legal counsel but as strategic advisor and confidante as well.
Alice began her legal career in Boulder at Shoemaker, Ghiselli + Schwartz LLC (SGS), a boutique law firm specializing in complex commercial litigation. She then moved on to Modus Law, a small firm focused on helping entrepreneurs start, build and grow their businesses.
Alice received her JD from Michigan Law School in 2010 and an AB in Comparative Literature (Russian and Spanish) from Princeton University in 2005.
Alice is boldly committed to rocking out on the drums, perfecting her gluten-free pie recipes, running on roads and trails, the Michigan Wolverines (Go Blue!), live music, contemporary fiction, cats and coffee.
